Hi! I’m a 3D Artist residing in Los Angeles. Proven as a jack of all trades but most passionate about character/creature development, organic digital sculpting, and texture/shader creation and optimization.
Born in the Caribbean. Raised by grandmother. Always had a passion for illustrating, film, making people laugh, superheroes, and music. Could read at the age of 3. Defeated childhood nightmares at 12. Stopped dreaming in Spanish at 17.
Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia College Chicago with a bachelor's in interactive arts & media: game design and a minor in web development in 2010 after serving as lead character artist, and art director of senior class capstone project.
While in Chicago, worked as Senior 3D Artist for WMS Gaming and for 4 years provided 3D support to multiple in-house studios creating 3D characters, environments, and visual effects for both cinematic attracts, and real time gaming on high profile licensed titles such as Lord of the Rings : Return of the King, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Beetlejuice, The Wizard of Oz: Ruby Slippers 2, Clue, and more.
Relocated to Southern California, it’s been wonderful getting to support multiple teams/studios through contract and full-time work. Most recently assisted clients illfonic Games/Gun Media with character, creature, and prop asset creation for Friday the 13th: The Game DLC content, Starburns Industries with R&D, and joined The Odd Gentlemen in a lead 3D Artist capacity to help with multiple aspects of production and unannounced original IP.
A growing passion for MR design led me to join the highly creative and vibrant team at snap inc. where I spend my days working on avatar solutions and optimization for MR experiences and other output.
Forever seeking better grasp of traditional and digital art fundamentals, new techniques, and tools I’m lucky to attend great classes/workshops at multiple schools/ateliers in the area.
Happiest when contributing within a challenging, diverse, creative team environment in interactive media arts.
